Enhancing the Visitation Center Experience for Foster Children and Their Families Through Trauma-Informed Design
This capstone hypothesizes that by integrating biophilic principles, recognizing sensory needs, and applying trauma-informed design principles within the visitation center’s design, both foster youth and their biological and foster parents can receive enhanced support, fostering a greater willingness to nurture and cultivate positive relationships.
